It is not first about what human beings do. It is news about what God has done and made known.
That is why the Gospel must not be reduced to good advice.
Why do seekers need to hear the Gospel?
Because many people are tired not only from their problems, but from a life that keeps turning around the self. The Gospel opens hope that is not built on human performance.
